In the Archimake Explore Arts Award course your child will have the opportunity to make notes about their Archimake Workshop learning journey to align their creativity towards achieving a nationally recognised Arts Award Explore qualification.

What's the difference between the Arts Award work and the Archimake Workshops?

The Arts Award comprises of two main components; guided teaching and independent learning.

The Archimake Workshops, purchased separately, comprise the guided teaching component and is where Archimake Tutors will support your child.

This Arts Award course is the independent learning component in which your child will write about their learning without support from Archimake Team. The course is structured so children can achieve independently although they may require parental help for some parts to help organise their digital files created, depending on age.

Through the course, your child will document their activities during Archimake workshops:

  • How they took part in hands-on arts and architecture activities

  • What work of world-famous architects and arts organisations inspired them

  • Demonstrate their creativity explored in Archimake Workshops

  • Share their achievements in a personal portfolio

By the end of the course, they will not only have built a portfolio to be proud of alongside their Archimake workshop portfolios, but will also gain a formal Arts Award Explore certificate awarded by Trinity College London.

On completion of the Arts Award portfolio an Archimake tutor will review it it and provide feedback on any areas that should be revised before submission. After this your childs 2nd submission will be reviewed by our Arts Award Assessor and the Arts Award Moderator for final assessment and grading.

We look forward to seeing the inspiring ideas your child brings to life!
